I have an MFA in Book Arts from the University of Alabama where I learned the traditional techniques of letterpress printing, fine binding, marbling and other paper decoration techniques and hand papermaking. I make the paper for the textblocks of my bland books and journals as well as for my letterpress limited edition collaborations. I also make decorated paper and sculptural works from my paper as well as the paper for my wall mounted paper weavings. I enjoy “binding” the traditional techniques from my training to work with the texture and substance of my handmade paper.
